A2 Induction project

This is my induction project. My part was mostly filming and editing the video. During shooting of the video i learnt to be more prepared sorting out mise-en-scene and during editing i learnt how to add a photoshop image in. We achieved the thought bubble at the end by creating it in photoshop then importing it into premiere.

Streetlight Manifesto - "Would You Be Impressed?"

This is the video for "Would you be impressed?" by Streetlight Manifesto. I like it because instead of having the actual real band members they've been replaced with different animals, portraying the band as fun. Also they've become symbols associated with the band.

Jamiroquai - "Virtual Insanity"

I like this video for "virtual insanity" by Jamiroqaui because of the style of it. The video makes it seem like the floor is moving when actually its the walls being moved which is really confusing.

Rise Against - "Ready To Fall"

I like this music video because it portrays what the band, Rise Against, are about. They support the charity Peta and similar groups and also really care about the world. The mise-en-scene in this music video shows that.

Slipknot - "Vermillion"

The reason Iike the video to "vermillion pt 1" by Slipknot is because of the style of it and the camera work/editing. The style of this video lets the audience know the genre of music its going to be as its dark and strange. However, the camera work/editing is the part I love most because it's filmed using a time lapse and the girl is moving very slow so the audience therefore concentrate on the girl, not the surroundings as they blur by making it look awesome.
